2019-03-09 10:00:00 2019-03-09 10:00:00 America/New_York Ale House Ride WEATHER CONDITIONS: weather conditions - high temperature for the day must be 45 for the ride to go.  Otherwise, the ride is canceled. SIGNING UP: due to the usual low winter turnout for C rides, I will need those planning to come to do one of these: register online for the ride at the Potomac Pedalers website, sign up for the ride on Meetup, or send me an email indicating that you plan ride.  In the event nobody signs up or contacts me by 8am Saturday morning, I will cancel the ride.  CUESHEETS: If you need a paper cuesheet, please print it prior to the ride from the PPTC website for this ride.  I will only have a few cuesheets for those who forget or might not have access to a printer.  THE RIDE: This ride has been offered on and off for many years going to the 1980s though maybe even before that.  It is a moderately hilly but short ride that will be at a leisurely C pace of about 11-12 mph.  Lunch at the Olney Ale House will be at the midpoint of the ride.  We should arrive there just before they open at 11.30am so we should have no problem with seating.  The route with one exception is the same both ways.  Veirs Mill Park Recreation Center (VMP)
