About this event
Please join me for a President’s Day/Black History Month ride. 37 miles of LOCO gravel roads from St Louis, VA. Always expect potholes and some washboard. For comfort and safety recommend gravel or cyclocross specific tires. I’ll probably average about 13 mph. You do your pace. We’ll take a break about mid-way along the route or at the Philomont store at mile 27. Start at Banneker Elementary School, 35231 Snake Hill Rd, Middleburg, VA 20117. That’s the google maps address. The school is in St Louis, an historic African-American village founded after the Civil War. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Louis,_Virginia) Porta-jon is available at the start. Roll at 1000.
