About this event
With high temps predicted in the high 70s, this Saturday could be your last chance this year for a long ride in the Shenandoah Valley. The 79-mile route is clockwise from Front Royal into Fort Valley and then over Edinburg Gap. From there it’s north to Middletown before returning to Front Royal. Three rest stops – Fort Valley Store (Mile 20), Larkin’s Grocery (Mile 39), and Middletown Sheetz (Mile 68). With 5,030 feet of climbing the route is hilly, but the last 10 miles is mostly downhill. Restrooms at start and stops. I will lead from the back. Got questions, call or text me, but don’t wait until Saturday morning.
