About this event
A gravel ride on mostly well-maintained dirt roads with occasional potholes, washboard, and possible recent maintenance that could leave loose dirt or gravel on the surface. Includes a climb through the woods up and over Bull Run Mtn Rd. Recommend gravel or cyclocross tires for comfort and safety. Ride starts next to the RR tracks on Stuart St, The Plains. On-street parking also is available near the coffee shop. This is intended to be a social/casual ride with some regrouping. I expect the group to average about 12.5-13 mph.
