** This activity has been cancelled due to the predication of rain and thunderstorms during part of the ride. The ART trail has a tendency to flood and all boardwalks become very slick. (A makeup ride may be scheduled in a following week.) **

This linear, paved route is very scenic and mostly flat. The route traverses many connecting trails in the Anacostia Tributary Trail System. You will pedal to a levee, Bladensburg Waterfront Park (a modern bathroom here), closeup views of the Anacostia River, boardwalks, marshes at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, and Anacostia Park.
