What is this?
Watch for a rescheduled date!!

Both routes are lovely, surprisingly flat loops through beautiful, quiet countryside. We'll spend a lot of time in West Virginia in what might be the only flat part of the state. You don't need to make a decision on which route to ride until Mile 40. The longer route includes a short, 11 percent climb. It also goes through the picturesque village of Millwood.

The only opportunities to buy supplies are at a 7-11 at Mile 9 and at the various shops in Berryville (around Mile 31). If you opt to ride the long route, you can pick-up something delicious around Mile 47 at the Locke Store.

It takes about 80 minutes to get to this ride start from I-66 and the Beltway. I led a ride from near this location two weeks earlier and people seemed to say it was worth the drive. This ride is much less hilly than the ride I led in April.

Ride Start: Boyce Elementary School, 119 W Main St, Boyce, VA

RideWithGPS files:

42 miler: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27251074

50 miler: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/39187273

Paper cue sheets will not be available at ride start.

Ride leader: Rita Zeidner, 703.402.5118
