This no-drop evening ride starts at 6:30p from the Tenleytown ElectriCity Bikes south parking lot and does a loop mostly on residential streets heading northwest through the Westgate and Wood Acres neighborhoods to Bannockburn then back past Glenn Echo through Palisades and up through AU Park to the starting point. <br /><br />Near the end we’ll stop at Millie&#39;s ride-up ice cream window for a cone.<br /><br />This * Bannockburn * route has about 1100 feet of climb over its 16 miles: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30205640<br /><br />Please aim to be at the start by 6:15pm so as not to miss the departure which is promptly at 6:30pm.<br /><br />In the event of rain and wet roads, a ride cancellation notice will be posted through this PPTC Calendar as of 5pm the day of the ride.<br /><br />Those so desiring after the ride can join for chat and pizza at Pete’s Pizza’s outdoor tables a few blocks from the bike store.
