FANTASTIC event for cyclists who want to learn how to ride on the road. Build confidence. Our group is very encouraging. Great way to expand your routes. ROAD TRIP !!!!!!<br /><br />Time for another challenge! This will be a 32 mile ride starting at Pierce Elementary School, 12074 James Madison Street, Remington, VA 22734. Meet at the school at 8:30AM . No drop. Not a race.<br /><br />The ride will be at an intermediate level with an average speed of 13-15 mph. Invite your friends to come too. Casual dress is encouraged, spandex optional.<br /><br />Road bikes are recommended. If accustomed to riding on roads, hybrids, dual-sport, and fitness are all fine.<br /><br />Carry a spare inner tube that fits your bicycle&#39;s tires, even if you don&#39;t know how to change it.<br /><br />!!!!!!!!! COVID has impacted the availability of rest stops. Please bring plenty of water. !!!!!!!!!<br /><br />Helmets required.<br /><br />Cyclists ride at their own risk.<br /><br />Ride will be cancelled in the event of rain or winds of 20+.
