If you haven't done this route in a while, come check out the new pavement on Clarks Gap Red (SR 662).

The traditional Loudoun Loop, but instead of starting at the high school, it starts in downtown Leesburg where the WO&D Trail crosses Harrison St. SE, just past the Tuscararo Mill. Plenty of free parking on Harrison. I'll be in the reddish Mazada3 hatchback. Ride start has a port-a-let and is within walking distance of breweries and coffee shop. One distance - 49 miles. No gravel roads despite what RideWithGPS shows. Ride leader will lead from the back.

Rest stops at Back Street Brews (coffee, Hot chocolate, muffins) in Lovettsville at mile 19 and lots of options in Purceville.
