Start at South Germantown Park, Blue Kids Activity Park near the traffic circle (there is some shade). Route goes through scenic countryside, Poolesville, Dickerson, Urbana, and Boyds. Experience the newly-repaved White Ground Road! Note: there's a long steep uphill of 0.3 miles at mile 22.5. Rest stops at Dickerson (16 miles) and Urbana (27 miles). We won't drop anyone who can maintain 13 mph.
