What is this?
Each week will have a uniquely assigned Ride with GPS route link posted at least two days before the ride. All riders are expected to download the Ride with GPS route onto their devices or have printed out a cue sheet in case they decide to separate from the group for whatever reason. The group is expected to ride together at the group leader’s C pace, which will be 11 to 12 mph on average. Rides typically are 25 to 30 miles and ascent will be between 1,000’ and 2,200’, depending on the route. All routes are in low-traffic, moderately hilly residential areas. Those wishing to ride at an average pace of greater than 12 mph usually will have the opportunity to form a CC-level ride group at the start and depart a few minutes early with a ride leader from among their ranks. Each ride will have a rest/restroom stop midway and an optional lunch stop near the end. This is a recurring ride. ALL RIDERS MUST REGISTER EACH WEEK. For new riders, emergency-contact information is collected at the ride start. (GLE 9F2)
