Bring cash in case there are independent vendors who don’t take credit cards.
Less miles with a half mile on the Ox Road bike path and none on the Fairfax County Parkway, but some extra hills to make for a good workout. Ride away from the Workhouse Arts Center to explore the suburban neighborhood streets of Lorton up to West Springfield and back. Starbucks rest stop at mile 12. Near the end there will be a 50 yard, unpaved, hard-packed path to ride on. Lunch afterwards at the Workhouse Oktoberfest celebration. Stay and visit the Lucy Burns Museum (history of the women’s suffragette movement) and artist galleries.
BATHROOM FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT BUNNYMAN BREWING 9 AM. Park near Building W-11 OR 10 located on the northwest side of the complex.
